9:15am & 10am Total Body Fat Slashing!
This week only the 9:15am GS class will be combined with the open Fitness class. Lots of fun for EVERYONE!!

GS Strength/Conditioning Class Rocks on...Sorry Gireviks!! The shake weight and cardio kickboxing classes will almost "Never" get you to your long term goals.... They are a very creative marketing tool designed to play to the busy individual to convince you that you CAN get a workout in as little as 10 minutes per day that will shape your body into the sculpted machine you've always dreamed of. All for the low price of $$$. And beware the myths that you should do more cardio, drink Slim Fast, eat Fiber Bars and the fat will literally melt off your body. Oh, if it were only that easy!!! ... EVERYONE would be on that program!! LOL Get REAL conditioning with REAL Workouts!!! Saturdays at 9:15am(Same fee as General Fitness classes.... 1 key tag) |

Kettlebell Training for Wrestlers and all Athletes!!
STRENGTH TRAINING DIRECTOR - Liberty Gray
Beginning Sept 19th Fitnessxt and MI Xtreme are Launching a Kettlebell dedicated Strength Training Program for all Athletes!!
This is a 9 week program that will give SERIOUS Athletes the opportunity to participate in THE MOST PROGRESSIVE Strength Training module available. Why Strength train with Kettlebells vs Traditional gym equipment? Athletes need Strength under Movement and Agility/Endurance from the Hips/Glutes/Hams... The PRO athletes know it and utilize this optimal training to Dominate in their sport!
Sessions meet M-W-F 7:15 - 8pm at Fitnessxt, Grand Rapids Location only
Price is $200 or is bundled as a Package for the MI Xtreme wresters Pre-Season Training (click 2011ELITEXT for details)
This Program is open to all Athletes (High School, Collegiate and Beyond) of all Sports.

Sprint Distance triathlon: 750m swim, 20km (12.4 mile) bike, 5km
(3.1 mile) run.
Olympic Distance triathlon: 1500m swim, 40km (24.8 mile)
bike, 10km (6.2 mile) run.

Congrats to Big Rapids, Jeff & Jenny Mossel for conquering the Race with their Kettlebell Forged Bodies!!
That was a hilly, muddy and challenging course Jeff said! Loved getting lost with Jenny Mossel!!
They weren't kidding about a few hills. Yikes! Tip a canoe made it through the hills, thunder, lightening and pouring rain!
Can't wait for the next adventure!!

The Grand Rapids Mud Run is a challenging but fun 5k run with hills, obstacles, walls, mud slides, tunnel crawls, slippery hill climbs, and oodles of mud pits. Ever heard of Planking?It's different than the traditional planks that we hold for time. This craze is unique in that you send in pics of yourself doing planks in some of the CRAZIEST places!! With that said... don't go too overboard as it CAN BE unsafe and people have actually been severely injured by falling off ledges, etc so.... if you want to play the game. BE SMART!!.... but send in some fun pics and at the end of September we'll pick a winner of the MOST UNUSUAL Plank out there to win aFREE 1 month Membership to Kettlebells!!*Winner will be chosen by a panel of your certified Kettlebell Instructors. **Both GR & BR Gireviks are eligible so submit as many pics as you like!
